Kerr County is home to the cities of Kerrville, Ingram, Center Point, Hunt and Mountain Home. The Guaalupe River originates in Kerr County. The North Fork and the south Fork of the Guadalupe run independently of each other and meet between Hunt and Ingram TX. In Ingram the Guadalupe River meets Johnson Creek. Johnson Creek originates in Mountain Home and is considered to be the third main tributary that forms the Guadalupe River in Ingram. There are numerous springs and creeks in the county as well. The views in Kerr County are spectacular and the city has all the basic amenities that are need for comfortable living. Kerrville has a huge retirement population, children’s camp industry, hunting industry, game ranching industry, and has a large medical community. Kerrville ranks second in the State of Texas in millionaires per capita. Kerrville has some spectacular ranch land and live water properties. Homes are still affordable in Kerr County. Many of the turn of the century cottages are being bought up and remodeled.
